How to install speakers in the back doors?

Is there a tutorial on this forum about how to wire rear speakers in a 6R?
Or if anyone knows how to do it and has the time to explain it would be greatly appreciated.
I know what the overall route for the wires should be I just don't really know where they should be connected. I never did any audio install and I have a pair of OE speakers from an old Passat.
Can I just add the rear speakers to the original wiring or do I need to buy a 4-way channel thingy?
