Hi guys,
A few weeks ago my car went through a Ford which was up to the middle/top of the wheels, and it stalled while right in the middle (not hydrolock! Thank God) due to the force needed to get through - I ended up reversing back out as I couldn’t tell how deep it would have ended up.
I’ve noticed since then when turning either full lock left or right and while accelerating or engine braking there’s a grinding noise somewhere at the front end of the car. It sounds like grinding disk brakes but lower pitch and you can feel it through the gearbox and steering wheel. It’s not that loud. Any ideas what it could be?
It also occurs when accelerating either in a straight line but much quieter.

Check the guard that covers the brake discs at front of car. I also had this a year ago and it was a stone or something trapped in this guard. Maybe you picked up something going through the ford.
I jacked the car up at the side I though it was coming from and loosened wheel off and whatever it was dislodged and have never had the noise since.
