Hello I have a problem with my wiper mechanism one off the threads has been snapped I need to replace it only problem how do I remove the windscreen cowling to access the wiper mechanism is there clips under the cowling thanks

I seem to remember that the part that is trapped under the lower edge of the windscreen is only pushed up into a V or U groove, and the suggested plan for removing it is to use something like a cable tie loop, and start at each outer end point and pull it down and out of the V or U groove, after one side has started to come free, move across to the other end of the plastic cover and repeat there.

Edit:- I've not yet needed to try that out and I think that I would only try doing that if and when I also need to get into that area!

I'm sure that Google would hand out some info/videos.
