Car won’t start but once jump started, windows, wipers and indicators won’t work

Hi all, lovely to be here.
I apologies if this has been covered but I didn’t even know what to search!
I have a 2010 1.4, she sat for a year due to having a work vehicle, I went to start her and of course, dead battery. I bought a new battery and there was then no issue whatsoever.
Silly me I then left her for a couple months on the drive (new car and work vehicle still) and the car again didn’t start.
Again I’ve jumped her, and I leave her running for a good 30 minutes today, but electric windows, indicators and front wipers do not work (hazards work though, as does the washers).
As soon as I turn the engine off, I go to restart immediately but there is nothing, not even an attempt to start and no electrics work (not even dash lighting up or central locking).
I’ve replaced the ignition switch and this hasn’t helped.
I’ve tested the battery with a voltmeter and all readings suggest alternator is fully operational (battery at around 14v when idling, drops to around 13.6 with fan, full beams and radio on, and battery goes up to 14.5 when at 2k RPM)
I’ve checked all fuses visually and see no faulty ones.
When I turned engine off, battery dropped immediately to 7v which is of course not enough to start engine, but I’d have thought that would at least light a dash up or allow central locking to work. When I turn the key to start, battery drops right down to 0.05, when I remove the key it goes back up to 5ish.
Am I being thick?
is the battery just that depleted that it will not hold charge? Why do certain electrics not work even when the engine is running, is there a direct link to these?
Happy Saturday! Keep well
