Hey, so I have been looking for some headlights replacements, currently I have an aftermarket that the previous owner got, and they look nice but the cover is hazy and low quality,
I also have the oem ones, but they have those ugly halogen headlights, and its just looks bad.
I have been looking for some solutions for this issue, I have found out that there are those 6C1941036A full led headlights that were an oem option apparently(even thought in my country never saw those yet).
the thing is they are extremely expensive, cost here around 2000$ which doesn't make any sense IMO, so I have been thinking maybe the newer polo headlights which looks pretty good may fit, they also seems to be cheeper for some reason. or at least you can say
that they're price make sense.
thing is I didn't found any info on whether they will fit on my 6c gti or not.
and they seem to also have HID headlight instead of halogen\led, which is defiantly a big plus.
*on the oem you cant really replace the halogen with led because there are no lenses in the headlights, but only projectors(what an annoying cost saving from vag )

Remember that the AW/2G look headlights are aftermarket and may not always show the same quality as OEM or the correct markings and certifications.

If by Polo 2G you mean the current model AW Polo, then the headlamps will not fit a 6c Polo. The 2G Polo is a completely different car - it’s a larger car, and all the body panels are different and the headlamp units are a different shape and size. You can see the differences by comparing the two pictures below. You may find some 2G style aftermarket headlamps designed to fit the 6c Polo, but as Iichel has said, they may be poorer quality and not have been tested / certified to the same standard as genuine VW headlamp units.
