The filter down by the tank on my polo 1.2 tdi CFWA split and was leaking, I drove it home and to the local garage fine. Had the filter replaced and it hasn’t started since. The filter has even been bypassed and taken out to see if it was that but still the car will not start. Any ideas
Thanks Chris

Are you getting any fuel coming from the tank when attempting to start? The fuel pump may have failed.

Do you not have to bleed the system on the little diesels if the filters are changed?? Sounds like it possibly has air in the system?

It should bleed on first start
Wonder if theyve fitted the filter backwards as I think it has a non-return valve in it

He he.. that crossed my mind. Easy to fit the filter the right way but still cross the IN & RETURN lines.alexperkins wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:57 pm It should bleed on first start
