6R - DRL off when start the car

Post by roby293 »

Hi to all, I have a little question about the DRLs on my car.
My car is a 2010 6R Bluemotion with original P21w DRL in the fog lights.

There is a way to automatic switch off the DRL when start the car, and then switch on again?

Because the lights stay always on in 0 position, and when I start the car, the DRLs flickering a little bit due to start the car and after some months the light burns out forcing me to replace the bulbs :( .

Thanks in advance

put the switch to the parking light position? or get a battery that is capable of starting the car. it sounds like your current one is struggling.

Thanks for the reply but I think I'm bad explained.
This is a video for better understanding.
Notice that when I start the car, there is a flickering light but only in that moment while new Polo AW or whatever new car doesn't do that.
For this reason I want find something solution to preserve the bulbs in the DRL because after months they burns

Is that an LED bulb or a regular P21W incandescent bulb?
