I don't know but on these diagrams the wires are almost always indicated with a reason.

JoskeBlankenberg wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 12:46 pm I will post more pics, and do a complete write up of the process. The car had issues with the injectors, mainly due to the high mileage (433000km without opening the tdi), so it was standing for a while and thats when I bit the bullet. I could just buy a 6C gti yes but then I had to fix the tdi engine to sell the car, which was not one of my options.
Yeah, fixing these things is some times just not worth the money compared to fitting a complete engine.
Definitely keen on seeing more photos and details on the process.

Some things are going on with my 1.2tsi engine and I'm dreading the day I need to replace or fix it. These little engines are R30K! Will decide at end of the year if I'm going to ditch it for a golf instead.
Whats happening with your engine, I might be able to help if you can explain?
Shiny bits in the oil. Fun times. :D

T20e/7 is connected via T14/13 to T105/8, like I wrote here:
viewtopic.php?p=592997#p592997

Powertrain canbus is not taken from the OBD2 plug but best taken from the orange/brown and orange/black canbus wires at your ECU.

Positives are divided into permanent positives (terminal 30) and switched positives (terminal 15, 75, etc).
It looks like T20e/11 and /18 are permanent positives.

The dq200 already have canbus wires coming from ecu so thats luckily sorted, next issue I will be facing is adapting the immo of the dq250, Volkswagen South Africa just said "no they cant do it", do you know of a way to get it sorted? Immo off can also be a option, however I would need to read the current tcu and ecu mac, cs and powerclass, which I dont have the tools to do so

i don't know if this is different but looking at the wiring diagrams i have for my 6c GTI i downloaded for erwin

it shows that the dsg controller has a 25 pin plug rather than a 20 pin (this could be wrong as mine is a manual car)

Yes, he is looking at the 6 speed wet-clutch DSG DQ250 rather than our 7 speed dry clutch DQ200.

iichel hows your dq200 holding on that amount of torque you produce? Any upgrades or replacements on the dq200 yet?

Did you do software on the tcu? My goal is to reach around 400nm safely, the dq250 should be able to hold that without issues. Another option I looked at is the TMG Performance Kevlar Clutches and TVS Stage 1 software, however with the software they raise the fluid pressure to achieve more clamping force, our valve bodies is not the strongest and crack even under normal pressure.

Hows the noise with the single mass you are running? I considered the manual swap also, QQR gearbox is nowhere to be found in SA. Would the G7 Gti manual box work? Also your flywheel, is it 6 or 8 bolt?

proper noisy at idle and low rpm so i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Yeah the dq200 should never have been used on the 1.8 tsi they fitted to the polo as it isn't up to the task.

Not sure on the gearbox off a golf 7 manual but i'll hopefully be fitting one some time next year along with the 2.0 tsi.

can't say i remember if it was 6 or 8 bolt as i had it fitted same time as getting an LSD fitted.

Yes the TCU has a tune as well. Not sure about stage 1, 2, etc. I'm running over 400nm with stock clutch, never had any clutch slip.
The pressure accumulator indeed does tear occasionally, but there is a repair set available.
