Hi all,
Has anyone attempted or done a paddle shift replacement?
Bought a set of blue paddle shifters for the BlueGT and I have no idea how to remove the current ones.
Does anyone know how? I can’t find the pin at the bottom to remove it from?
Thanks in advance.

Remove airbag, remove steering trim having controls, behind the trim you have screws to remove the paddles.

I just don’t want to disconnect battery, remove airbag and undo current paddles to find out they don’t fit.
Also, that video is for Golf R’s and GTI’s. Blue GT’s and older models which don’t have that type of steering wheel don’t have the pin he’s referring to. Well at least mine doesn’t.

To be honest, the fastest way is to do as you describe and find out

Checked on Reddit also and basically came to the conclusion it won’t fit.
The grooves in the paddles compared to the OEM paddles are different.
