Broken wires

I have started to try and change my starter motor due to starting issue, when looking underneath the car I have found some broken cable can anyone identify them?

please put vehicle details in your post, it may help members to identify your problems also point out or ring the wires concerned in this picture

Looks like reverse light switch wires on the front of the gearbox

I think I found it out looks like it connected to the alternator it's got a blue and purple wire
