Wheel centres for 15" Melbourne alloy wheels. Anyone?

Post by Allegedly »

Hi guys,

Been trying to get a decent set of wheel centres for the alloy wheels on the Polo but can't find any anywhere.
Just wondered if anyone on here has a set kicking about after changing wheels.
The ones I've got are pretty naff now and a set of new sticky backed ones (90mm) off fleabay are just a smidge too small and not quite concave enough.
So thought I'd ask before attempting a repaint by hand !! BTW, photo is one I've taken off a site....mine are actually worse, virtually no paint/colour left on them.

Sorry, but I had a set of 4 new ones and a 5th quite good one, I bought them "just in case" for my wife's 2002 Polo back in maybe 2008 when VW was selling off these things - I sold mine, probably for a song, to someone on the Fabia forum to fit to a set of wheels he was refurbishing.

Edit:- I'm guessing that you know the part number - for searching for them.

Hi RUM4MO,
Thanks for the reply. Pity they've 'gone', sounded ideal.
Proving very difficult to find a set. As I said, second hand is no problem, as long as they're in fair condition. Don't have to be perfect or new, just not overly worn or bubbling paint.
Fingers crossed and I'll keep trying on here.
Cheers
Rob
