Noise off steering when turning

Hi all we have a 2014 1.2 tdi, when turning there is a humming noise from the front of the car, only when in gear if you de clutxh the noise goes ,,raise the clutch and it’s back again,no lights on dash and drives fine no vibrations or clicking drive shafts just this humming, not a wheel bearing as been checked
