Heater matrix hoses

Hi ppl,
Right… im getting little heat in the car ,but heat is hot whilst driving so think core is blocked a bit!?
I start car & it takes ages to heat up & i think the heater support pump works but it is locked according to the obdeleven code, ive tried to find the unlock setting on the obdeleven (its the pro version btw), but dont think i can unlock it with obdeleven pro , i dont have vcds anymore which can unlock it apparently.
Anyway i put leakstop in system sometime ago & the issue started after that tbh,
Ive got to do a waterpump/thermostat unit replacement which i have now purchased the latest re-imagined parts from vw dealers as the leaks are coming from the old waterpump/thermostat unit n gettin progressively worse now but before i get involved with taking that off i want to flush the heater core out seperately then flush the whole system out, the reason to do it this is that i dont want the leak stop spongy particals going back into the heater core again + this hopefully will give me the chance to take the heater support pump from the back of engine & from the heater core hoses thus hopefully attempt to flush out the support pump & hopefully fix it (does anyone know if this is possible to do that part?)
Does anyone also know where the heater core hoses attach to from the firewall to the engine? Does one of the hoses go to the heater support pump directly etc?
I pretty much need the advise asap tbh as im on A/L & need to start this work on the car asap .
