Hello everyone, I wonder if any of you can help? My front and rear headlights are permanently on when the ignition is switched on, even if the lighting switch is in the off position and my front fog lights won’t work, but the rear one will. It’s not bulbs or fuses and I have tried disconnecting the battery, but I can’t find the source of my frustration, would really appreciate any assistance, it’s a 2011 GTI

Is your first problem not just the cheap and nasty way that VW implemented DLR I'm sure that I've read of others complaining about this on this age of Polo?

Yes, this is my first issue for lighting, did have the alternator replaced a couple of months ago and to be fair I’m not sure how long my lights have been permanently on, so don’t know if this could Bea factor.
