Fiirstly I'd like to say hello to all you wonderful people.

Now I have a polo 9n 2002 and I had to remove the centre console and removed all the connections on the back of the heating control module.

Randomly I come across (behind the centre console) the linkage, I've had a look everywhere and can't figure out where the hell it connects into. ( one side clips into the blower fan direction switch and the other god knows).

Ive attached some images, if one of you wonderful people could help me out I'd be very greatful. Thank you all for taking the time to read this post.

Hi Wasseem87,

I have same issue as you after trying to feed iPhone cable from the glove box to cup holders under the heating controls knobs. I’ve spent days looking where this two flexi cables go and found one to the right and one to the left. Direction switch black cable to right and white to the left. It is a nightmare to get them back. White (one to the left) I had to remove centre console and a glove box. Now I have issue as in process dials got moved while installing and I’m having knocking noise from passenger area as I put cold air. Car is steaming up as I believe no fresh air is entering. Not sure how to get this resolved by matching dial teeth with bit where flexi cable is connected.
I’ve searched internet for days and left many questions in various forums awaiting reply’s from wonderful people.
I’ll let you know if I find before you and please share what you find.

If you send me an email I will send you manual to see where they go.

Hello, Sorry to hear about your issue, I genuinely cannot find where this is connected, maybe need to take it a mechanic, hopefully not! It's not very long so must be close by. I've put the dash back on, might need to take it back off again to have a proper look. I will keep you posted. 👍🏽
