Daft question

This will be a stupid question so I apologise. Whilst I know a lot about car cleaning, I’m a completely novice at anything mechanical. Are these the correct wipes for the current polo?

For the LHD countries it is the A863S
650mm driver side
450mm passenger side

Maybe there is a difference between the LHD and the RHD

Assuming the pre and post facelift models have the same wiper blades, they look to be the correct ones. Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades for my 2020 GTI+ are;

Front; A864S
Rear; A282H

Remember to lay a thick towel or something similar on the screen when removing the old blades and fitting the new ones; if the wiper arm falls onto the screen without the blade attached it can crack the windscreen.

These are the codes that came up for mine, so as it’s a facelift I assume it’s the same. Cheers both and thanks for the handy tip SRGTD. Hoping these are better than the standard ones which are useless now after winter.

Put the wiperarms in service mode before changing too

contact on and then off
push wiperhandel down 1 time
wipers will stop at the top of the frontwindow
Use the wipers one time to let them return to their usual positions

Thanks Maarten. Thankfully I knew that one from cleaning the car.

On the AW (pre-facelift) Polo, it’s possible to lift the wiper arms away from the windscreen without putting them into the service position and they don’t make contact with the edge of the bonnet. Assume the same would also be the case with the BZ (facelift) model.

Is the facelift called BZ?

On topic, yes they do not touch the bonnet without putting in service mode (FL model)
