6n2 1.4 8v air box tubes

Hi, does anybody know what I should do with the rubber tubes that disconnect from the air box if I were to put a performance air filter on to it, would i need to fit something to them or are they fine just exposed? Im a bit new to all this so any help is appreciated thanks

You mean the one to the left from the airbox? This is the PCV (positive crankcase valve) hose. You shouldn't leave it exposed, it can suck rubbish into the block. Some filter sets come with a extra small filter which can be mounted onto the PCV hose, see image below. Otherwise, just buy one separately :mrgreen:
