Poor tickover, tearing my hair out.

Hi everyone, recently bought a 2009 polo 1.6tdi.
Really smart little car however when it warms over it tickets over like a bag of crap.
I've smoked it to ensure no vacuum leaks, code read with no problem codes on tbe system, and also checked dpf levels and injector levels on vcds. (Will dry to put a photo on)
There is a little bit of knocking from the dual mass however still the same tickover with the clutch pedal depressed.
I would truly appreciate it if you guys could share some wisdom.
