Hello. I am having an issue with condensation inside the headlights. It happens with both but the one I will show is considerably worse. I have tried to dry them out and I have placed some bags of silica gel in the back of the units but it hasn't seemed to help.

Any advise would be appreciated as new units aren't cheap! Thanks alot.

Well, have you attempted to locate where the moisture is getting into this or these head lights assembly.

There will be 3 options:-
1) through the head light front covers due to cracks or stone chips.
2) round the area where the head light front overs are bounded to the black bulb holder assembly.
3) in through a missing rear rubber cover - or any other rear cover/closure.

I'm guessing that these are genuine VW Polo head lights.

Edit:- you could remove them and dry them indoors near a heat source, then attack them with a mains hose pipe - to see if you can see the water getting into it/them.

Removal of head lights without upsetting the aim is quite easy, okay maybe a slight change in aim, but if you are careful and use existing "witness marks" then you should be able to achieve this. I've had both head lights out of my wif'e's 2015 Polo SEL really to just make sure that I could do that if a bulb, probably just the indicator bulb fails when out and about. You might get a sore palm of hand "patting/slapping" the rear of this assembly.
