6C GTI Turbo

I have the car booked in for a Stage 1 tomorrow and I am reading as much as I can about it before I go ahead. I found an old forum post talking about the 'old' 701T and the 'new' 713J variants of the IS12 turbo. I am aware a bunch of people had issues with their 701T's from factory, and got the newer 713J model under warranty.
My car is a 65 plate, so I am pretty sure from factory it would have come with the 701T. Is there a way for me to find out if it ever went back in for the newer replacement?
Also, if it didn't, should I be more skeptical about remapping my car on the 701T turbo? Last thing I want is a blown turbo on the way home lol. Thanks.
