Anyone know how to adjust high beam light?

Hi all,
After getting a new headlight recently, I’ve noticed the left front high beam is pointing too far down. To try and level it so it’s the same as the right headlights high beam, I used an Allen screw which I could see on the top of the back area of the unit, and managed to raise the headlight dipped beam to a better position however the high beam moves with the low beam, and when both high beams are at the same level the left low beam is too high and blinding others. I thought that these lights had the ability to move the high and low beam separately unless I’m missing something. Would anyone be able to advise? I can see another screw that is adjustable and this is near the low beam one and I think it’s mostly for turning the angle of the light. Is there a screw at the back of the unit for high beam adjustment only as I only need to move the high beam and not both.

If it's a FL model, is it not still under warranty?
edit.
Ignore me. I've just noticed it's a 2018 model.
My bad. Must be my age

FL model started in 2021, so must be the pre FL AW
Matrix LED should adjust height at startup, they go down and then up again.
You could drive by a garage to have them fix it for you.
They should have special equipment for it, on sight is never as accurate.
outer screw is usually for height adjustment
inner screw is usually for left<-> right adjustment
Good luck

@Harrihealey02 has a 2022 facelift R-Line Polo and has Matrix LED headlights; their previous car was a 2018 pre-facelift car.
@Harrihealey02; I suspect your headlamp beam alignment issue maybe a consequence of your headlamps not being correctly adjusted after your recent front end bodywork repairs. In the first instance, I’d be taking it back to the repairers for them to fix and if they’re unwilling to sort it, involve your insurance company. The repairs were very expensive and it’s in everyone’s best interests to ensure all repairs and adjustments are to VW spec and that you’re 100% happy. Also, it might be worth updating your forum signature details to reflect your current car

My bad, I looked at the 2018 SEL under his avatar
Come to think about it, was this the same car with the minor collision, front/side damage?

Yeah, then he should go back to the ones who fixed the car.
Those are some steep prices.

I know this may only affect 0.01% of polo owners

however I managed to sort the high beam aim.
I used Carly to scan the car and found error codes for the left and right light control systems. After clearing these codes and any other system errors, I turned the car off and on again, then positioned it in front of a wall. I ensured the low beam lights were perfectly aligned, and when I turned on the high beams, they were aligned correctly once more. It seems that the presence of error codes prevented the high beams from adjusting properly, and clearing them allowed the lights to intelligently readjust.
