My 2016 Polo air filter box appears to be loose. On the bottom right side it has quite a lot of vertical movement, whereas on the bottom left side it doesn’t move much in the vertical direction.

It appears as though on the bottom left side there is a clip holding the air filter box, whereas on the right side the clip appears to be separated.

Do you guys experience this on your Polo?

I’m currently away from my wife’s Polo and home, but looking at your 2nd last picture, that shiny black plastic ball mounting should be engaged into the rubber part above it, so, I’d suggest pressing down at that end to get these two parts to engage - and that should lock it down. From memory, and it is only a month since I had that filter off to replace its element and spark plugs, there are only 3 fixing/hold down points on that filter box.

I did manage to clip it back like you said! I had to push really hard but eventually it clipped into place. There are three mounting points like you said based on looking at mine. Thank you.
