Hi,
I've been looking about this mod, but I couldn't find all the information. Maybe someone here has a bit more info.
What I know it uses an 02M gearbox - ( this is mk4-golf platform) ASZ,ARL?
driveshafts- transfer over cv joints
gear selector cable selector ends from 6sp


Gearbox/ engine mounts from polo transfer over
clutch hard line hose again I suppose from mk4 golf?
I suppose also the starter from 6sp
Clutch kit with flywheel from 6s
Clutch fork from 6sp?
what about gear selector cables?
what about the starter will kfk transfer over or again from 6sp one?
what about the slave cylinder?

I thought about making such a mess with my 6R, but then I reprogrammed the ECU and it seemed enough.

I assume you will also need to update the ECU software... honestly, I currently wouldn't know how to approach this swap.

I think i really miss the 6 gear on the highway. Im just trying to put the list on the paper to see the cost. The gearbox i can source pretty affordable/ its 2x cheaper than KFK ( stock).

Im not sure about the ecu remap, i think CAY never came with 6sp manual?
