What is this disk under the rear right passenger seat?

Does anyone know what this disk under the rear right passenger seat does? I have tried to google the numbers on the tags attached to the wires but nothing comes up... perhaps I was googling the wrong numbers. I was cleaning my car today and now I'm curious.

I think the round black cover provides access to the fuel pump beneath, and the component that you can see recessed in the cover is the fuel delivery pump control module unit.
I may be wrong though, as I’m not particularly mechanically-minded………….

Yes this is where the low pressure fuel pump lives, you can see the fuel pump controller seated in the plastic.
