almost ripped my driverside door off its hinges - advice on how to repair myself

Hi all so ive been a complete idiot and almost ripped my driver side front door off my 5 dr 9n3.

Aside from the bodywork damage i can see that the door now hinges back further than it should compared to the other side yet the actual hinges dont seem to be damaged much/at all.

Currently im thinking about jacking the car up using the door (fully open) and hoping that it can bend it the 3-4 inches it needs to align again so i can go back to driving the thing.

Has anyone else been this incredible stupid and managed to do something similar and got any experience DIY'ing it.
