ESC, Lane/Front Assist Errors 2022 Polo

Post by Tmithh »

Hi all, new to all this to bare with me... I've been having some trouble with my Polo R-Line. Was driving along one day when the notorious bong scared the life out of me, followed by the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree
Following this I constantly get errors for ESC, Cruise control, Lane/Front assist. Even the parking sensors wont work anymore.
I've scanned and cleared codes with my reader, but the following instantly come back:

Engine:
38535 - Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Control Module

ABS:
00004 - Cruise/Brake Switch (A) Circ.: Malfunction

Airbags:
1060614 - Databus error value received
1060615 - Databus error value received
1060617 - Databus error value received

Instrument cluster:
16777018 - Function restriction due to communication interruption
16777022 - Function restriction due to communication interruption

Parking/steering assist:
13637426 - Databus error value received

Central electronics:
535060 - Databus error value received

Adaptive cruise control:
02101 - Databus error value received
00803 - Databus error value received

Driver assist front sensor:
1123173 - Databus error value received

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to start as I have no idea.
It's already been to the garage once after a year of owning due to a stop start error in which a purge valve sensor was replaced... the joys of owning a new car I guess.

As your car’s under warranty, in your position I’d be booking it in at the dealer’s for them to investigate and sort out the issues. Make sure you don’t clear the fault codes as they’re evidence for the dealer to see there are issues with your car (if you clear them, the dealer might play dumb and say ‘no faults found’).

Good luck - I hope you get it sorted. Please update this discussion topic with progress and the outcome.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Thanks for the reply, I'll get it booked in ASAP... only thing I've noticed is damp in the car especially early mornings. I assumed it was the awful cold weather we've been having but noticed recently the driver side mat was soaked. Wouldn't be surprised if they're related. I'll let you know what the dealer says.
