Appreciate this is all over forums but I wouldn't mind a steer please. So I have the standard RCD 310 and want to replace with car play. All pointers lead to noname RCD330 but when I look at 2016/7/8 Polos they have what I think is the MIB2 where there is a voice button on the bottom left instead of Mute (I was always told that was the indicator when buying a 2016 model as to whether your car already came with car play). I cant see any cars that ever had RCD330 as standard. So which one should I buy please and is anything I've said wrong
Thanks!

I think I've researched the answer to my own question. I will be getting the 6R therefore the RCD330 is a straight swap (cant see that ever being standard in a 6R hence me not seeing any pictures of it in a car).
If I get a 6C then it's more complicated. The RCD330 can be done but I lose some functionality and therefore should get the MIB2 (car play model)?
Have i got this right
Thanks,

jimmybond007 --- AFAIK -- 310 has a quadlock connector. And dual port radio connector in back.
These RCD's are named different 330/G/Plus, 340/G/Plus with numbers -- 6RD035187x and 6RF035187x.
Whichever I have seen from OEM VIsteon, noname and desay -- all have quadlock connector. So it would be direct connect.
As for radio -- you may need two to one adapter -- as these have single radio connector in back.
There is an USB port and microSD card slot in front for some of them. (RCD340/360)
and
There is an USB port, Aux Port and SD Card slot in front for some of them.(RCD340)
My visteon OEM is named R 340G (PQ) with part number 6RF035187C
Just ask seller if it has (what you need) apple carplay and or android auto.
Hope it helps.
