6R 1.2tsi Turbo Problem (2014)

Help required with my sons 2014 1.2TSI Polo, we've just replaced the crankshaft breather valve which had snapped but he's still complaining that the turbo isn't cutting in and the car is sluggish. Any ideas in plain English where we should start to diagnose the issue. Cheers Guys

Is that the 8-valve (EA111) or 16-valve (EA211) engine?
No error codes showing up?
Could be turbo actuator, but I think ECU would be complaining about that.

Visit a good mechanic. Turbo problems are difficult to diagnose without proper knowledge and tools.
