Hi all!!!
I've got a big, big problem last night....
I'm going to install 2 amply for my hi fi system and I need to pass one big power supply cable from battery to inside...

My car's POlo 1.9TDi 3p 2004 and I can't see where's the hole to use!!!
In all my old cars there was one hole to pass cables from battery to inside the car... just near the pedals...
S.O.S! S.O.S! S.O.S!

I see that up the battery cover there's a "slave" connectors with fuses... my cable has 40A fuse, in your opinion is better to connect the cable directly to the battery or ....? (There isn't free "slave" slot!)

There is allready a post under ICE forum that explains how to pass the cable from motor bay to the interior.

My power cable is connected to the "slave". It doesn't matter wheter you connect that directly to the battery or in the "slave" thing.

i drilled a small hole in the passenger footwell next to another cable and fed it through.
then just tucked the power cable under the plastic skirt along the inside of the car.
i may have done it the hard way if there a slave unit

You drilled a hole?! Well I didn't. I just poked my through the hole underneath the glovebox bit, you should see a cable through it already, but I'm not sure if it will fit your "thick" cable though.
