Hi,
My son has just bought a 2013 1.2 TDi and the blower fan does not work at all. It did switch on for a bit then made a high pitched screeching then stopped working not even on setting 4.
Fuse checked and ok could it be the motor itself??

Most likely the fan is stuck, replace it with a fresh one and you're good to go.
