I have a Polo R-Line 2014 6R.
Today i have installed new VLAND tail lights and i mistakenly put the wires on wrong ends. While i was testing it i noticed that my car somehow got Park Pilot and the sensors started working. Since i bought the car i did not know my sensors worked as nothing came up.
I tested if the sensors worked by walking backwards in which they did.
Once i flipped the tail lights to the correct position they worked fine but the parking pilot dissapeared.
So now that i know that the park pilot works properly, how would i go around fixing it so it comes up when i reverse?
Does anyone know how i can retrieve my parking sensors as they do not work when car is put into reverse? I do have apple carplay and VW radio so it should come up.
Please note that the Reverse light does not turn on when in reverse, could that be a reason for the issue? If so how would i go about reparing that, thanks guys.
I have ordered a reverse light switch for £11 and will swap it over tomorow to see if it fixes anything.
