UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi, unfortunately my Polo died after being used 2 hours before.
When I turn the key ignition, it goes black then all the lights on the dash start flickering and and a few buzzing sounds. Once I turn ignition back all dashboard lights seem normal. I tried jump leads and nothing. I tested battery and it read 12.5v.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

did you check the fuses?
check ground connection

Could also be due to bad fuel pump control module. 1.2 tsi have one above the fuel tank. Do you hear the fuel pump priming sound when you turn on ignition ?

Fuses look fine, where is the ground connection?
