COMPLETE CHANGE OF INTERIOR BRANCH OF CABLES WITH FUSES AND RELAY HOLDER AMAROK 2016 TO A AMAROK 2012 AND MORE UPGRADE
BCM 90D - RLS - Bixenon retrofit
Dear forum people:
First of all, apologize for my disappearance and disconnection.
I had a very bad time in all areas which led me to stop any retrofit or project.
First, apologize to Cyclo and Iichel for my disappearance. I think it is correct to apologize if necessary...
But I think that we always learn from something bad and it allows us to rethink things for the better and you can see good friends in situations.
I want to tell you that during the time of my disappearance I had put together many things for my project, which I was not able to do anything on my own and studied.
from the information that iichel and cycle shared with me at the time and in some other forums.
I would like to tell you what I have put together to be able to do with the patience and help of this wonderful community that really helps our VW vehicles out of passion and love.
When I bought my Amarok the improvements or retrofit that I made are the following.
1st Retrofit was to install a multi-function steering wheel (Multi-function steering wheel installation Amarok 2014) since it did not have it from the factory and I recently changed the steering wheel and Airbag
from a nicer 2019 Amarok (in my opinion) and installed a double din android radio since my amarok did not have a double din radio
and I am satisfied with that update for the moment.... but one always wants more improvements and comfort
2° The next retrofit which they helped me with was changing the instrument panel that I got from a donor of mine, it was 2H0 920 853 B, I changed it for this 2H0 920 871 A
How to change the instrument panel I also changed the command stem that goes to the ballast since how could I operate the instrument panel from the multifunctional handle
It was no longer necessary to have visual or functional buttons on the stalk of the windshield wiper activator.
3° Change the windshield wiper water tank for one with a sensor and install the lines so that the instrument panel (MFD) 2H0 920 871 A will notify me. This is how you run out of water
4° Install the Engine opening sensor (hood) and its lines so that the instrument panel (MFD) 2H0 920 871 A. To tell me it's open
5° How my truck manufactured in 2011 sold in my country in 2012 did not have an Isofix system and how I was going to be a dad for the first time (I'm happier than a dog with 2 tails hahaha)
I got an opportunity to buy a set of complete electric seats for an Amarok V6 (new ones, really, it was luck for the price and everything)
They are electric ErgoConford, they come with seat heaters in the pilot and co-pilot (I only have the electrical part working to move the seats)
- I already have the branch and the module that are from Polo 6R (which I bought on Aliexpress) so I can leave the seat warmers and the seat warmer buttons working.
on one side of the shift lever I had to bring them from Argentina since it was impossible to get them here and I also brought a branch and the plug that powers the seats to
being able to do the installation as it should be done as original as possible and not with a cable taken from a battery fuse and an ugly plug under each seat
(I have not installed any branch of the seats that I brought, nor have I installed the seat warmer module or the buttons for its activation yet)
(STILL TO BE DONE)
These are the changes that I have made on my Amarok because the automatic lights switch that I brought from Aliexpress I don't call it a retrofit because it is removable and put in
(I don't like it) I always prefer the most Original Possible...... I think it is a thought shared by you in this community and there is the beautiful
I told you at the time that I wanted to upgrade my BCM 6R7 937 087 H to the BCM 7H0 370 90D (Amarok 2015 or 2016 Higline)
I already have the BCM BCM 7H0 370 90D (Amarok 2015 or 2016 Higline) and they gave me the complete interior branch of that Amarok that had that BCM installed, the 90D with the rifle
the relay holders, the complete interior wiring that connects to the 4 doors and connects all the modules and that passes through the engine area and goes to the optics and ECU, they only cut it at the top
where the pilot side tweeter goes that connects the interior dome lights and other small things.
This branch is complete, they only cut it above the pilot side tweeter connector (I can repair it by cutting mine in the same part and soldering.)
- I have the Mirror and the sensor for the RLS function of that same truck and I brought a branch to connect the mirror and the RLS sensor from Aliexpress
- I have also gotten a pair of optics 2H1 941 015 AF and 2H1 941 016 AF. I have to complete them, they are missing the Ballasts of the Xenon lights and the ballast that
controls the LEDs (in the process of completing them I am buying the Ballasts through Aliexpress)
(A PROGRESS I THINK) I connected the BCM 90D and added the keys to the new BCM 90D and the key controls worked perfectly... I did not touch anything of the original configuration of the BCM 90D
(I just took out my BCM 87H and put in the new BCM 90D to test what was happening, as everyone told me, take out and code your control first and see what happens)
RESULT: Electric windows do not work and I had to prove what else was failing and I had to go out in an emergency and reinstall my original BCM 087H and I almost had a fit... None of the windows worked,
The electronic door locks did not work, it did not recognize the heating module..... I disconnected the battery again and after a while it reconfigured itself, the only thing left
The glass regulators were misconfigured (they remained like a British car with handlebars on the right side) we coded them again and solved it.. EVERYTHING NORMAL WITH MY BCM 087H
Now that's why all the questions I'm asking you because I know that new wiring, relays, fuses have to be made.
So that all the lights and other things are controlled by the bcm (The looms that the cycle master makes)
That is why it is the Idea that I have written below and update everything.
Now come the questions:
It will be easier to remove my complete interior branch and install this updated branch since it has the switch with automatic lights and the installation is already done
so that the BCM 90D controls the lights since the BCM is from the same Amarok (I should install only a couple of cables and not put relays and draw energy from x sides)
There is also the original 2 DIN radio plug for the 2 radio antennas, 1 on each mirror on the pilot and co-pilot side.
(I have an original plug adapted for the radio and an antenna on the driver's side) I think it would also be easier for me when I install the electric folding mirrors.
in the future... and I also have the rear bumper with the sensors and the wiring that goes in the bumper but I do not have the cable that goes from the bumper to the interior with the OPS module
Installing OPS for the Future would be great
What changes mechanically is the engine of my truck and the one that this BCM 90D had, the differences are that I have another type of EGR and my engine is 163hp and this one is a 180HP engine with a newer EGR
I have an electric water pump and the 180hp one comes with 2 water pumps among other details that I don't know at the moment.
for my opinion. MAYBE I don't know... for me it is much easier to remove my branch and install the new one and repair where they cut it if the change can be made and see if I have to rearrange any cables
(change a PIN position or install an extra cable)
I truly believe that any improvement or retrofit of those that I told you that I would like to do with this original updated branch would be easier.
I have the VIN of the Truck that this Branch had (DONOR) AMAROK HIGHLINE 4X4 2.0 AUTOMATIC YEAR 2016 VIN: WV1ZZZHZFA047969 ENGINE: CSH 129201 BCM 7H0 370 90D
The Vin of my truck AMAROK HIGHLINE TDI 4X4 2.0 MECHANICAL YEAR 2012 VIN: WV1ZZZ2HZCA026354 ENGINE: CDC 098095 BCM 6R7 937 087 H
SUMMARY (I'm sorry for the length of everything I've told you)
CAN I CHANGE THE BRANCH FOR THIS NEWER ONE?
WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO MODIFY FOR EVERYTHING TO WORK AS IT HAS UNTIL NOW?
THE BCM CODING WHAT HAPPENS WITH THAT. DO I COPY AND PASTE MY LONG CODE?
SO THAT I CAN LATER DO THE RETROFITS THAT I MENTIONED (RLS, XENON OPTICS WITH DRL) I can take advantage of leaving the cables and overlays of the retrofits in
when I install the Xenon optics and the RLS...
COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME CLEAR MY DOUBTS AND CARRY OUT THESE RETROFITS
