Removing bumpers for washing and cleaning (BlueGT 2017)

Hi,

Does anyone have experience on removing the front and rear bumpers, and then put them back?

I'm planning to remove the bumpers for a while so that I can wash and clean them inside and check their condition. My concern is when removing the headlights and parking sensors (from both front and rear) how easy is it to plug them in again. Does this need some kind of "coding" to work properly again when jointing the wires/cables back?

Do you think this is worth doing alone for this reason, is it easy to put the bumpers back after washing and cleaning?

If worthwhile, what are the steps for removing the bumpers (BlueGT 2017)?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure on front, but rear was easy to remove:

Reminds me... still need new bumper stiffener

For this it was tail lights out by lifting flap in boot liner and turning out the big plastic screw.
Then unto all the screws in the wheelwells and underneath, all are visible and accessible. Then pull the bumper off the mounts; they're clipped in.
The mounts are the black items int he photo below the door shut and along the sides.

Headlamps should slide out. Don't see why a recode is needed. Just disconnect battery beforehand if you are concerned.
Not sure on the front bumper removal since I haven't done it yet.

as long as you don't turn the key with the wires disconnected, it's alright
