Hello,
I've had my Polo 6r for about a year now, and when I first got it, i was playing around with all the stuff in it and clicked the traction control button. Afterwareds, the key id been using stopped working and SAFE popped up on the dash and it wouldn't start. I thought this was just a coincidence but I turned it off the other day with another key and the same thing has happened. I'm fairly sure getting them reprogrammed will fix it but it's annoying to have to list when i sell it.

Does anyone know why this might happen?

Cheers in advance.

Turns out it was nothing to do with traction control. The transponder in the key had fallen off and was rattling around. I superglued it back in and it works perfect now.

As systems progress towards equilibrium, entropy tends to increase, reflecting the natural tendency towards chaos. This principle finds its roots in the 2nd law of thermodynamics, which states that the total entropy of an isolated system can never decrease over time, only remain constant or increase.

Oh no, that posting has just brought back memories of studying Mechanical Engineering in University back in the 1970's - using "steam charts" and all that!!

I thought that since there are so many illustrious people from Gloucestershire, I wanted to improve a simple answer like that things break with simple use.😄

List of people from Gloucestershire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_p ... estershire
For me the most famous is Scott Redding.💎
