My car is 2010 VW Polo 1.4 85hp. Sometimes, especially after using it for a while (half an hour or 1 hour), when I start it again, my vehicle does not start at the first start. It takes the second starter without any problems. I noticed that if I give gas at the first start, the engine starts. I tried both LPG and Gasoline, there is the same problem. When we connect it to the device, no error code appears. My car was serviced exactly 1 month ago, the injectors were cleaned and all ignition elements were renewed. Because of this problem, I also replaced the fuel pump, but it still did not fix it. There is no problem starting it cold in the morning, it starts without any problems with a single start. There are no problems with acceleration, idling etc.

Do you have to select gasoline/LPG operation by manually switching?, some systems, depending on coolant temperature will re start on LPG, so after say a hour it might be trying to start on LPG, maybe this is where the problem is?, a cold start is allways on gasoline.

I have read that in "hot countries" especially in summer, there can be an issue like this, and it is caused by the EVAP solenoid, replacing that seems to clear this issue even where no fault codes have been logged.
It is this engine that there have been reports of this issue, mainly on SEAT Ibiza but Polo is exactly the same car in this area.
Maybe check on seatcupra.net on the section for the same age of Ibiza as your Polo.
