Morning all

Does anyone have access to the torque setting for the front crash bar that sits behind the bumper please? Just about to start rebuilding the front end on my 1.2 6R.

Is there a definitive list or database anywhere with torque settings?

Hi,

I think that they are 30Nm, bolt 12 on the diagram

The best place to find torque specs is the manuals which are on ERWIN

Or, if you can't be bothered setting up an account with Erwin, just buy the same thing from www.easymanuals.co.uk - I bought one years ago for a 2015 VW Polo 6C and my 2011 Audi S4 - they are very very useful to have!

Edit:- they are just copies of the manuals taken from Erwin at a point in time, so I'd think that the information will be stable enough for your car as it is many years old - like my Audi S4.

Just watch out for, if you buy the easymanuals workshop manuals that, the files you get will cover all models and ages of Polo so early 6R and later 6C and some info is not the same on both, what I did was save everything on a memory stick, then create a second workshop manual specific to the age and engine etc of my cars - to avoid any mix ups in the future.
