Its a relatively early mk2. Sounds quite nice, got any pics? As for offerering money, when a cars had alot of work done like that it doesnt tend to up the price a great deal, Ball-park I would say £500 but I would need to see the cars overall condition before I make any decisions.

I paid £295 for my C reg squareback in january... it was fairly good mechanically but had lots of little bits that needed to be sorted, and I thought I got a pretty good deal with that, so you're onto a winner with that coupe providing everything's in order

I payed £100 for mine, E reg coupe S.
80k on the original engine and gearbox. (engine still sounds great)
No tax MOT ran out the month after
Recent service
Scirocco alloys
lowered 40mm
Bolt on K&N
Blaupunkt stereo.
but the bodywork was bad, lots of dents and rust under nearly all the plastic trim but it was made in wolfsburg so i figured it deserved a couple of years timeout to make it mint again.

I feel the same about stuff made in Ruesslsheim....... No it's not in spain
If it floats your boat do it...... It's a short period you have on this earth and then you're dead - no second chance no after life. It's not a dress rehersal......
Sorry too much shiraz

Well like i say:
RS Bumpers
DTM wingmirrors
14" alloys (not sure what yet)
lowered 60mm
mk3 golf doorhandles
Full respray in gloss black
badgles twin light grille with "S" badge stuck on
debadged and delocked boot
G40 interior (hopefully)
Straight back stainless steel zorst
4-2-1 manifold (hopefully)
all the ususal chrome bits and bobs, rocker cover ect (maybe even some chrome drums:D)
mk1 Golf GTI brakes transplant including remote servo
electric windows
possible GT and maybe G40 engine transplants in the future
most of that... well infact all of it i will be doing myself apart from the last layer of the respray thats being done by the shop.
well should keep my busy for a little while:D
But yes i figure it was one of very few polo's ever made in wolfsburg so it should feel privileged and people should know it.
