Hi all, daughter has just purchased a 2014 polo with the cd radio below , she wants to upgrade to Apple CarPlay , would like a easy fit if possible, had a look but getting confused any one recommended a unit or supplier thanks in advance

The stand out option is the VW RCD 330 unit, official unit used in the polo in India, China and Russia.
Available from RCD330.co.uk for about 300 quid or a bit less.
Built in mic for Bluetooth so no faffing about. Take out old unit, fit new, takes 5 minutes and works. Park pilot works too which is nice if you have rear sensors.
On,y thing to note is you lose the cd player and also digital radio, as it is FM only.
That website sells wireless CarPlay adapters, as well as a modification to have a usb at the rear to plug such adapter into (or run a cable from to plug phone in), which takes stock price from abiut 280 to 330 or so, but in my experience is well worth it.
Imo it’s the best upgrade, all oem vw, and works really well. Sound quality better than stock also. Win win.

I seem to remember that there are RCD VW models with the most up-to-date software.
