Does anyone ever see any 2nd hand front parking sensor buttons for sale (6RU-927-122-WHS)? I recently bought a new one from VW and like some new heated seat buttons that I had bought previously, they are not so black as my other dash buttons and like a very dark charcoal grey so don't match in. I thought maybe some 2nd hand ones would be more likely to match, as I found some 2nd hand heated seats buttons which match my existing buttons perfectly. I've had no luck in finding 2nd hand 6R ones so far-I only find 6C ones on ebay and new 6R ones on the internet (which are likely to be the same as what I already have!). Thanks for any help!

On Aliexpress you have it as '6RD927122' (it's the same one you're looking for).

I've seen a couple of stores that sell it, search by part number.

You may or may not need to make some modifications to the tabs on the switch so that it fits where you plan to install it.
This switch has always been somewhat controversial due to the surface color, it doesn't exactly match the buttons on the European 6R. This switch was never manufactured for the European 6R, only later for the 6Rs family in other markets, Russia, China, etc.

The colour was the problem that I had with the NEW switch that I bought from VW -it's an off black or very dark grey, so doesn't match the other switches and doesn't look great because of that. I also bought some new heated seat switches and they were the same colour, but I have since bought some good 2nd hand ones. That was why I tried to go the 6C route way with 6C buttons and vents as the front parking sensor button is way more common in 6C's. I have all matching switches for 6C. But now I found that the 6C's didn't have a double din radio 'square' shaped opening like the 6R's did! I bought an aftermarket one from China, but the little trim is bright chrome (and looks a bit cheap & tacky), rather than the matt chrome which Polo's have! Really not sure what to do now, as I'm stuck whichever way I go!

Very misleading when the diagram shows the shape that I am looking for, but what you get is something completely different!
