Hello! I have a 6n2 which has been very trustworthy except for some cosmetic stuff. Anyhow, 5th gear stopped working when a friend borrowed my car roughly 2 months ago and driving in 4th isn’t too fun.
The 5th gear goes in without a problem and i can rully release the clutch while driving, but as soon as I accelerate the shifter pops out and starts wiggling. It doesn’t make any sound as long as I don’t put throttle or push it in again.
Is it an adjustment problem or possibly something worn? Does anyone here have any tips on how to get the 5th gear to stay in place?
