Polo 9n3 Autobox oil change

Hi There - Hope you are well.. I have 2 questions maybe related to eachtoher
1. the car has started to judder a bit when slowing down coming to a stop its like the breaks are binding type thing but only at crawling speed. When in idle you can see the revs jump up a tiny bit up and down. Normally the car just idles whisper quiet. The last few months the idle and the minor jerking are consistently there. had the codes read didnt' come up with anything as i thought it was sparks or ignition leads. Being told maybe a throttle body clean required??
2. we are getting burning smell coming into the cabin especially going up hill.. the smell is like a burning clutch.. The car is an Auto.. Just wondering can the autobox fluid be changed? and is it wise to do it.. the car is a 2007 9n3 with approx. 75k miles
