Removing fuse box cover - does it just pull?

Hi,

I bought a 2023 Polo last week and am planning on fitting a dashcam so I was going to have a look at the fuses and double-check/confirm which one I need to use before running the wires as there are lots of suggestions online about the fuse.

My question is about the fuse box cover inside under the steering wheel (next to the drivers right knee)

Does this just pull off? - there is a kind of hand grip o the left side of it but ive put quite a bit of pull pressure but bottled out when it didnt easily come away as I didnt want to break anything.
Is there a bias towards pulling towards the top or the bottom etc - or shuld I just keep on at it until it pops out and hope for the best :)

Thanks

Just as a follow up for anyone that searches this in the future.

It does just pull off but it definitely feels like you are about to wrench the whole dashboard off just before it comes away in your hand :D
