How to tell if car has Adaptive Cruise Control?

Im looking at buying a 2022 (or newer) polo 1,0 tsi manual. Unfortunatly im a bit of a feature geek and really want adaptive cruise control, however im finding it difficult to tell from photos which cars have it.
Ive noticed that there are atleast 2 different steering wheel button layouts (left middle button: CNCL or Car with lines) on cars that sellers claim have ACC.
Does anyone know there is a connection between button layout and the car having ACC or not? or are there any other easy ways to tell from photots?
Cheers

The middle button on the L/H side of the steering wheel should have the diagram of a car and the horizontal lines if a car has ACC.

Just to note; IMHO ACC on a car with manual transmission isn’t the best combination - it works best on cars with DSG transmission as in theory, DSG should always select the correct gear and the car apply the brakes when necessary to maintain the distance you’ve set between you and the vehicle you’re travelling behind when that vehicle slows down or speeds up. With a manual car, the driver will still need to control the braking and gear changing so won’t be able to fully enjoy the full functionality of ACC.

From a personal perspective, if I was considering getting a car with manual transmission, I wouldn’t be at all bothered if it had ACC or not. I would see ACC as a benefit though on a car with DSG transmission.

Does a manual car with ACC not auto brake?

Thinking about it, it probably does, although I’ve never owned a manual car with ACC.

Thanks for the info. Even with a manual the car does brake, it just screams at you to downshift when it needs it. It wont come to a complete stop like some of the DSG's will but still a great feature to have imo
