Looked closer to around 140 to me, so far as i could tell, nice tight set of ratios on only a moderately high diff (not even as high as a G40? or is it a 6 speed?).... perhaps kissing the magic 155?

Why though did the recorded power climb with each gear - shouldnt it be the other way round???

PS Krupa loving the new sig    dirty rotten thief!

hate to break this to you guys but its not an R32!

-back wheels arn't turning! R32 is 4X4
-wrong headlights, R32 has xenons and NO fog lights

but to be fare it is still 600bhp! but threw the front wheels! that ant going no where!

When making a dyno-run with a car that runs with a 4WD Haldex system people regulary make the car front-wheel drive only. They just take the shaft out that goes to the rear-diff. In that way they get a even higher output and less driveline-loss.

Although I think it's not necessary because at top RPM haldex splits power 90% to the front and 10 % to the back.

But it could be something else than a R32. Dunno.

i saw the same link posted on porka and the argument there was that the Syncro 4x4 system is electronically controlled - power only goes to the rear wheels if slip at the front is detected. Presumably this means either the front wheels must spin at different speeds to each other, or it deactivates with the handbrake on. And I would assume if its electronically controlled, it's fully switchable...

And besides... havent enough of us done light swaps and foglight installs?

600hp on a purely FWD car would be mental........ wheelspin and hugenormous torque steer all the way to 100mph... i think there was an american car maker tried it once (only ~400hp) and the results were... well... uniquely american. 4WD is the only way.
(ever played GT2/3, got a fiat coupe, and tricked it out fully? knocking on for 400-450hp... insane wheelspin without traction control or really high gears!)

edit: ahem getting my HPs and MPHs the right way round!

With regards to the is it/isn't it debate and the R32.

From what I'm told, the Haldex 4WD system is only 4WD when it needs to be, transferring power to where it's needed for the sake of extra grip.

As for the headlights, that's quite an extreme car and it's possible that with 2 turbos and 3.2 litres of V6 engine (which is moving a lot!) there wasn't enough room for the HID units under the bonnet.

I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't have air conditioning either.

That's definately an R32 engine though.
