The new-look CL

After months of trying to get wheels ferried around the country by relatives, as I still can't drive yet, for refurbs and tyres and the like, I have finally got the wheels on. And this time the rear ones actually rotate! Was even lucky enough to find some locking bolts thats fit without a problem.

Whats everyone think? An improvement over the steels and trims?

Nice - very nice - I like the MKII/III Shape anyway 8)

Definately an improvement on steels and trims

Nice to see the weather where you are is as sh1te as it is here....

Looks just right at the rear but a tad high at the front but I'm sure thats just the photo..... :?

When I was waiting to drive I would have loved to be able to have modded a car to exactly how I wanted it ready for the day I passed my test

The lighter coloured pictures were taken when I fitted the front wheels (as the bolts on the rear were catching), while the darker ones are from tonights escapade (complete with naff weather). Its sitting low at the back as I've got so much crap in the boot thats either come off the car, or is waiting to be fitted. I really need a clear out, as I don't have a shed I can store anything in, and the car most certainly cannot be used for storing junk.

Thanks.

Very nice :D I really like the BBS wheels, lovely subtle improvement on standard :)
All it could do with now are some arch trims and just a little bit of lowering.. not slammed, just subtley taken down so the wheels fill the arches a bit better.

Groovy carrot has the right idea! Get it lowered a bit, I think GT/G40 spring should do it enough (Unless you already have them, then you need more lowerage!). I would take the trims off if you didn't have the colour coded bumpers, but I think the black arch trims would break up the colour a bit in a good way. Getta searching for'em!

Dude is referring to the middle silencer. Is it one of barningfields 'zausts or is that part of the system standard?

Its a standard system with one of bodge-it-barningfields decat pipes :-D

I would recomend them to anyone, they also sound louder.

Yeah, I'm gonna go for a de-cat when I have money too spend on the GT. Gonna give it a good service first.
