got my new zorst fitted - see what you think

what a mission this was - got it from R4BBY for 140 notes last week after my rear box sheared off from the rest....
anyhow - the short story is it was such a tight fit (no squashed pipe over the axle like the original) that my dad and i had to take it on and off about 8 times - and modify the centre "protection" brackets to catch the zorst if it falls off. also to clear the axle and have it in the right left/right position some of the hangers needed heating up and bending.
The reason for the hassle is because if you get a rear silencer that isn't a silencer (straight through design) and don't have a centre silencer any more then you are in for one of the most mind-numbing resonating exhausts imaginable (on the 16v model) - so much so that it is actually painful at 3k rpm as if the cabin is pressurised! it was so bad we had to refit the centre straight through silencer back in (hence adjusting some brackets) - but now it sounds absolutely mint.
very happy now, but glad i took a long weekend off (sorry Donna
