is this a mk4 back box

does anyone know if this looks like a back box from a mk4?
don't think it is....
although that raised bit definitely looks like it'll fit over the axle, I don't understand why the connector bit ends where it does - it will be very awkward to fit onto a mkiv, and the original will need cutting....
it's close tho - would need better pictures of the hangers too.... might be do-able....
