It's a bit ott for me, but it seems to be executed to your exact specifications - therefore it's a good project.
Not a fan of cut springs though.

thanks all for your comments.
i am also "not a fan" of cutting down the springs on standard dampers, but in the text my suspension is uprated and can be used with an 80mm drop. i just trimmed them down a touch.

Looks nice, quite a few people have the Mk5 rear lights, the all red ones. Reckon they would look ace and just finish it off.
The only thing I don't like, is the silver mesh. Spray it black and it would look well mean. Apart from that its

totally agree with srb, spray the mesh and live happily (poetry?)
