Hey! have any of you lot had troubles with your electrical power control warning lights?
mine are coming on very often now whenever I turn my HID's on.

Yes - what is happening here is the HID ballast is crow-baring the supply lines on startup because the inrush current is so high. You might try to add some capacitors to the supply lines to the ballasts. If your ballasts are connected directly to the headlight switch then you will need to decouple it on the supply side of the switch.
On my old polo it used to set the clock to 9.11 am everytime I switched the headlights on. Very freaky.
